Raul Blisniuk is a Buenos Aires, Argentina based artist and creator. He is recognized for his colorful and vibrant painting and his character Ravik. His creative work includes painting, sculptures, drawing, printmaking, and installations, believing that insight in art is supported by a cross-disciplinary practice and influencing one discipline with another. He takes every medium as an opportunity to express different ideas.
He mainly works with highly saturated primary and secondary colors, transferring his excitement for life into them, creating dynamic and energetic artworks. He is inspired by pop art and street art, combining them with celebrity figures such as The Beatles, Frida Kahlo, Michael Jackson, among others. Intending the audience to feel this energy and feel joy when observing his art mixing it with the affinity they feel for these artists.
